Frequently asked questions
What is Domain Rating?
Domain Rating (DR) is Ahrefs' 0–100 score of how strong a site's backlink profile is, on a logarithmic scale: going from 70 to 80 is far harder than from 10 to 20.
Why does DR matter for a launch?
A dofollow link from a high-DR directory passes more authority to your site than one from a new site. That's why our directory list is sorted by DR and shows whether each link is dofollow.
How fresh is the number?
We ask Ahrefs at most once a week per domain and show the date of the reading.
