Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter into a contract to use MakerRadar. If you use MakerRadar on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You sign in with a one-time magic link sent to your email, or with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your inbox and account secure, and for the activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You keep ownership of everything you submit — product names, descriptions, logos, links and other content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reformat and create listing pages from it (including category, alternatives and AI-assisted summary pages) so we can operate and promote the directory. You are responsible for having the rights to everything you submit.

You agree not to:

• cast or solicit fake upvotes, or otherwise manipulate rankings;
• use bots, fake accounts, scraping or automated access we haven't authorised;
• upload malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, infringing or misleading;
• impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with a product.

Breaking these rules can result in content removal and account suspension without a refund.

Placement on MakerRadar is determined algorithmically within weekly cohorts and is not guaranteed. We may re-order, reject, hide or remove any submission, and moderate content, at our discretion — for example to prevent abuse or low-quality listings.

Outbound links to makers' websites are nofollow by default. A free listing's link becomes dofollow only while our on-site badge is installed on your website and passes our automated re-check (roughly every 7 days). If the badge is removed or fails the check, the dofollow is withdrawn. Premium launches receive a guaranteed dofollow link without the badge requirement.

Some features are paid, one-time purchases priced in US dollars — for example a Premium launch ($39), featured placement, sidebar or in-feed ads, a newsletter sponsorship, a review article, or done-for-you directory submissions. The MakerRadar name, brand, design and software are owned by us. We grant you a limited licence to display the badge we provide, unmodified, on your own site while your listing is active.

We rely on the following service providers to run MakerRadar. Your use of MakerRadar is also subject to their terms where applicable. The Privacy Policy describes what data each one receives.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove your account or content if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or initiate a chargeback — in which case paid features may be forfeited without a refund.

MakerRadar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee any particular ranking, traffic, backlink value, or SEO outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to MakerRadar is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and costs arising from your content or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we'll update the "last updated" date and notify registered users where practical. Continuing to use MakerRadar after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan, India.
