AI visibility checker

Find out whether AI assistants and answer engines are allowed to read your site — and can understand it when they do.

We read its robots.txt, its llms.txt and the page itself.

What it checks

  • robots.txt rules for 20+ AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended …)

  • Search crawlers AI answers rely on (Googlebot, Bingbot)

  • Content Signals — whether you state how AI may use your content

  • An llms.txt file and a Markdown version of the page

  • Snippet rules that stop answer engines quoting you

  • Structured data and readable text without JavaScript

Frequently asked questions

Why does AI visibility matter?

More people now ask an AI assistant instead of searching. Assistants can only recommend a product they're allowed to read — a robots.txt that blocks their crawlers, or a page that only renders with JavaScript, keeps you out of their answers.

Which AI crawlers does it check?

The 21 user agents of OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Apple, Perplexity, Meta, Amazon, Common Crawl, Mistral, DuckDuckGo, Cohere, ByteDance and You.com — the same list our own robots.txt welcomes.

What is llms.txt?

A Markdown file at /llms.txt that tells AI assistants what your site is and where its key pages are — a short, machine-readable map in the spirit of robots.txt and the sitemap.
