Sitemap
A sitemap is a file listing a site's pages, usually /sitemap.xml, so search engines can find and recrawl every page worth indexing.
Also called
XML sitemapsitemap.xmlIt should list only pages you want indexed — not duplicates, redirects or thin pages — and say when each last changed. It helps discovery; it doesn't force indexing.
